Immersive Converter is designed with privacy at its absolute core. As a native macOS application that runs entirely on your Mac, your videos and personal content never leave your device — ever.
Key principle: All AI depth inference is performed on‑device using Metal and the Apple Neural Engine. No analytics. No tracking. No cloud processing. Your files stay on your Mac.
Data We Collect
We collect no analytics or tracking data whatsoever. The app only accesses files you explicitly choose via the macOS open panel.
What We Don't Collect
- No usage analytics or telemetry
- No tracking of any kind
- No crash reports sent to servers
- No information about your files or content
- No device fingerprinting
Mac App Store Data
- Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple
- We never see or store your payment information
- App Store reviews and ratings are managed by Apple
Local Processing
All video and image processing happens entirely on your Mac using Apple's CoreML framework and Neural Engine. The AI depth estimation models run locally. This means:
- Your videos and photos never leave your computer
- No cloud processing or server uploads — ever
- No temporary copies sent to external servers
- Bundled CoreML models (Depth Pro + DA V2 Large) run entirely on‑device
- All converted files are saved only where you choose
Network Usage
- Standard (App Store): Fully offline after install — models are bundled
- Pro (Python): Optional network use for model downloads (e.g. Hugging Face) if you choose to enable Python/GPU models
The Standard edition functions fully offline after installation — proof that we don't rely on any external servers to process your content or run AI inference.
Analytics
We use no analytics whatsoever. There's no usage tracking, no telemetry, no anonymous data collection, and no phoning home of any kind.

The Standard edition makes no network requests after install. It operates completely independently from any server infrastructure.
Third-Party Services
Immersive Converter integrates with minimal third-party services:
Apple
- Mac App Store for distribution and purchases
- Apple handles all payment processing
Pro Edition Only (Optional)
- Hugging Face for optional Python/GPU model downloads
- Python packages install into an app‑managed venv in Application Support (no system/global changes)
- Network use is entirely opt-in and only for model files
What We Don't Use
- No cloud storage services
- No analytics providers
- No advertising networks
- No user tracking services
- No external AI or ML processing services
The bundled CoreML models run entirely locally — no external API calls are made for AI inference in the Standard edition.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data we do collect:
- All data transmission uses TLS 1.3 encryption
- License validation uses secure, encrypted communication
- We regularly audit our security practices
- Employee access to user data is strictly limited
- We don't store sensitive information on our servers
Your Rights
